Flea market

The Coimbra Flea Market is one of the city's most emblematic events, where the past meets the present in a celebration of memory and tradition.

A monthly event (held on the fourth Saturday of each month) in Praça do Comércio, this event attracts collectors, antique dealers and curious people looking for unique objects full of history. From antique furniture to rare books, porcelain, vinyl records, jewellery and medals, the fair is a true treasure chest where each piece has a story to tell.

"For visitors, it is an opportunity not only to acquire rare objects, but also to relive memories, in a space where time seems to have stopped."

Founded several decades ago, the Flea Market has become a reference for lovers of antiques and vintage objects. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, and many of the vendors are passionate collectors who enthusiastically share the stories behind the items they sell. For visitors, it is an opportunity not only to acquire rare objects, but also to relive memories, in a space where time seems to have stood still.

This event, which keeps the tradition of street markets alive in Coimbra, is also an excellent opportunity to explore the city's historic center, as it is located in one of its most iconic squares.
